Bray's Beer Dinners
Bray’s served their first house made ales, Old Church Pale Ale and Brandy Pond Blonde, on December 21st of 1995. To commemorate that day, Head Chef John Dugans created their first Beer Dinner on December 21st of 1996. Since that time we have beer dinners commensurate with the changing of the seasons around the solar equinoxes and solstices.
Our extremely diverse and talented chefs take turns creating their own version of Bray’s traditional Beer Dinners to tantalize the most discriminating palate. Past entrees have included bison, ostrich, venison, quail and exotic seafood dishes. Our chefs, head brewer, Rob Prindall and owner Michael Bray meticulously pair each course with beers from our own brewery or specialty brews from afar. At the table, head brewer, Rob Prindall will lead a brief discussion of the style selections, origin, key ingredients, and how it compliments each course.
While our dinners are conducted in a rather casual manner, we do ask that you purchase tickets in advance, as space considerations limit seating to 20. Brewery tour starts at 6:30pm with seating for dinner at 7pm. We are very fortunate to have many loyal regulars at our Beer Dinners and thoroughly enjoy welcoming “newbie’s” to our unique intimate culinary experience in our Red Room!
